Recipe of Empek-empek palembang, This time dianacake'sdiary wanna share about Indonesian cooking recipe from Palembang, South Sumatra-Indonesia. In Palembang, there have a popular food that good and tasty, made ​​from sago containing eggs, with sweet and sour sauce that added the dried shrimp. Its really Yummyyy... if you eat empek-empek, you'll want to eat it again and again..

Okey... Now lets see that recipe bellow :)

Empek-empek Palembang 
Ingredients :
 600 grams mackerel fish
 3/4 cup water
 300 grams sago
 salt to taste


Directions :
1. Remove and clean the fish from the scales and entrails
2. Split into 2 parts and clean the bones also middle
3. Clean up is also a tiny little fish bones while pearled with fork
4. After clean fish skin, fish meat puree,
5. Combine water, salt and meat until blended smooth

 For Sauce :

3 cloves of garlic
2 pieces of red chilli
4 pieces of tamarind
1/4 kilo of brown sugar

salt to taste
 

Direction :

How to serve :
