Melting morsels
Ingredients :
1 egg yolk
½ tsp black pepper powder
100 g flour
½ tsp salt
100g unsalted butter, chilled, cut into pieces
75 g grated cheddar cheese
75 g parmesan cheese powder
1 egg, beaten, to spread
topping:
1 tsp paprika powder mixture and parmesan cheese powder
1 tablespoon parmesan cheese powder
½ tsp black poppy seeds (poppy seed)
Direction :
1. Mix flour, salt, black pepper, sieve and put it in a bowl. Add the butter, cut into pieces with a pastry knife until crumbs form like sand.
2. Add cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese, cut into pieces again until well blended cheese in flour mixture. Enter the egg yolks and stir well. Round shape dough, wrap in plastic, put it in the fridge so dense (+ 20 minutes). Preheat oven at 180 ° C. Grease a flat baking pan with margarine.
3. Remove the dough from the refrigerator. Roll the dough between two sheets of plastic to form a thick square with 1/2 cm. Cut the dough form an equilateral triangle measures 6 cm.
4. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet formed, rubbing the surface with beaten egg, sprinkle with the topping ingredients.
5. Insert the pan into the oven, bake until cooked and lightly browned (+ 25 minutes). Remove from oven, place on a wire rack to cool.
